It is reported that ISO/TS16949:2009 quality system certification, full name "Quality System - Quality Management System Requirements for Automotive Suppliers", is based on ISO9001:2000 issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), covering the requirements of ISO9001:2000 standard and QS9000, VDA6.1 and other quality systems, integrating the special requirements of the automotive industry and improving them. It is a common quality system requirement for suppliers in the global automotive industry and has international authoritative status.
